The Sapphic Achievement, Scholarship, Social Impact & Investment (SASSI) Fund is an opportunity and economic empowerment initiative dedicated to investing directly in the education, professional development, leadership, and ideas of sapphic people.
We believe talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not.
Financial barriers, limited professional networks, unequal access to mentorship, and a lack of affirming resources can make it harder for people to pursue education, advance their careers, develop their ideas, or create meaningful change in their communities.
The SASSI Fund exists to help close those gaps.
Through scholarships, internships, professional development, mentorship, leadership opportunities, and social impact investment, SASSI provides multiple pathways for participants to gain the resources, experience, relationships, and support necessary to pursue their goals.
Our approach recognizes that investment can take many forms. Sometimes it means helping someone pay for school. Sometimes it means connecting someone with a mentor who can help them navigate their career. Sometimes it means providing the resources necessary to attend a professional conference, earn a certification, develop a community project, or take the next step toward a long-term goal.
